Dragon Tamer - Chapter 1288: 1292: Attend the Lecture
Chapter 1288: Chapter 1292: Attend the Lecture
“Weaver Star?” Zhu Minglang scratched his head.
“Although she is a Star Fairy, Our God’s strength and influence far surpass those of many Moon Gods and can even rival the Sun Gods,” Qiao Caiqing continued.
“That is quite a remarkable goddess.” Zhu Minglang exclaimed in admiration.
“Exactly, the Weaver Star also has another name, known as Sky Zither; hence, people also call Our God the Heavenly Zither Fairy,” Qiao Caiqing said.
Zhu Minglang nodded.
Why do I suddenly feel a sense of familiarity?
Have I actually seen this Heavenly Zither Fairy at Dragon Gate?
However, a jade statue doesn’t prove much; maybe if I meet the person herself, I might recall something about this Weaver Star Fairy’s deeds.
Zhu Minglang actually gained a little piece of knowledge.
That is to say, the divinity of Star Gods, Moon Gods, and Sun Gods is not absolute.
Some very famous Star Fairies, their status is not inferior to those of the Sun Corona Gods.
…
…
In Cloud Sky Heavenly Court Weaving Cloud Hall.
The Weaver Star Fairy was sitting in front of a long cloud zither; she slowly removed the shuttle from her jet-black hair and placed the wooden shuttle on her cloud zither.
Soon a multitude of zither cloud strings appeared in front of the cloud zither, intertwining rapidly like confused strings.
“People call you Weaver Girl, and cloth-weaving women worship you, zither-playing women adore you, even believing that the world’s beautiful clouds are woven by you. With so many legends, none are exactly you, yet every single one is the real you. But I think the most fitting title for you should be Life Weaver!” A man with flame in his eyes came over and said with a warm smile.
The Weaver Star Fairy’s delicate fingers hooked a cloud string and swiftly placed it onto the cloud zither.
“The destiny of mortals is like this string, which you can freely change and weave. Why are you still so cautious and careful in everything you do? Finding that person related to the Red Sun for you shouldn’t be difficult, right?” the man with the flame eyes continued.
“If the threads are in chaos, the melody becomes jarring to the ear; if the music is played wrongly, and ruined, it can start over. Human life is not child’s play; it cannot be altered haphazardly,” the Weaver Star Fairy said.
“Alright, you have your principles, but Emperor Elder of the South seems to have already drawn that person into his sight with his special methods,” the man with flame eyes said.
“No rush.” The Weaver Star Fairy gestured with her hand, indicating the man with flame eyes not to disturb her.
The man with flame eyes retired politely, not forgetting to steal a glance at the graceful figure of the woman sitting before the cloud zither, his lips curling involuntarily.
After the man with flame eyes left, the Weaver Star Fairy started to play an elegantly simple piece.
In the piece, it seemed to contain the very answers she sought, yet she always played it wrong.
The rhythm echoed through Cloud Heaven, rising and falling, absolutely marvelous.
Finally, the Weaver Star Fairy’s frown relaxed. Her gaze fixed on the slowly dispersing mist ahead, where a gap appeared, like the clear lake surface revealed when the lake’s mist clears…
She looked down through the thick cloud peaks, comprehending the world of mortals with a single glance.
“It has been a long time since you last used this Life-Weaving Technique,” a Cloud Sky Court Lady came over and whispered.
“Although I know not who that person is, by intertwining my fate with theirs, I shall eventually meet them,” spoke the Weaver Star Fairy.

On Bi Luo Island, even though they are Outer Sect Disciples, the Immortal Masters who are invited to teach them are all famous deities within the vast expanse of Jun Tian, having either made outstanding contributions to Jun Tian as a whole, or possessing great fame and virtue in the outside world.
Sometimes, even the Moon Gods are asked to hold lectures, teaching all Disciples about how as divine beings they should cultivate their minds and conduct and how to follow the will of the heavens.
Indeed, the Southern Heavenly Palace is truly powerful.
Moreover, their willingness to spend a great deal of effort in nurturing these Outer Sect Disciples is already quite remarkable.
After all, most of the families and God Sects adhere to the principle of inner before outer, males before females; the feudal mindset of imparting knowledge prevents many truly powerful Immortal Techniques and philosophies from being disseminated.
The Southern Heavenly Palace advocates freedom of belief, so even if the Disciples who leave here one day become local deities or serve a certain Immortal Master, they will bear gratitude towards the Southern Heavenly Palace and act in accordance with the principles taught by it.
This is one of the important reasons why the Southern Heavenly Palace has been able to preside over Jun Tian.

Within the Outer Sect, Zhu Minglang actually learned quite a lot, feeling almost enlightened by the Southern Heavenly Palace. After just half a month of classes, Zhu Minglang had already grasped the overall structure of Jun Tian; it’s just a pity that the system of deities was not discussed in the teachings for Outer Sect Disciples.
It seems one must rise to a higher status before the landscape changes.
Each season there is a sort of selection trial for the Outer Sect, and those who stand out in these trials can enter the Inner Gate.
However, in order to truly come into contact with those Immortal Courts above the clouds, it is best to become a direct disciple; those who are qualified to be teachers of the Southern Heavenly Palace’s celestial immortals usually have their own Immortal Mansions within the Cloud Sky Immortal Court.
These individuals are the Sovereigns, the Immortal Gods who manage the cycles of the sun and moon and the movement of the stars.
It’s another day of lessons.
The warm sunshine makes the flat, mirror-like Silver Court even more luxurious and unadorned, and upon the spotless Silver Court lie nearly two thousand deer velvet cushions.
Two thousand Disciples of the Southern Heavenly Palace, dressed in exquisite Gray Clouds Robes, sit in a quietly solemn atmosphere, presenting a spectacular and unified scene.
On the high platform of the Silver Court, there is but one teaching official. Presiding over today’s lesson is the Waning Crescent Moon God, who comes leaning on an Immortal’s staff, riding a cloud crane.
He spoke much about the will to cultivate.
“Just like every small creature, it holds the potential to transform into a Dragon.”
“Each person has their own Way of Cultivation, and by refining this path to its limit, one becomes what is called a God.”
“But please understand, even if you become a deity, you are but a flickering star in the vast cosmos, and even if you reach the Realm where you can compete with the moon for radiance, you must always understand that there are heavens beyond our own.”
“Have you Disciples noticed? Several months ago, Bright Moon disappeared, leaving as if a great void in the pitch-black, deep space of the cosmos, resulting in chaotic tides and panic among the Night Spirits… I’m quite familiar with the Bright Moon God; they were once a Disciple of this Southern Heavenly Palace, blessed with talent and great strength, yet they couldn’t escape the sins of their pride and arrogance.”
Mention of the Bright Moon God prompted Zhu Minglang to shift his legs which had begun to go numb.
How does this old man know how Bright Moon God died?
When I dealt with the Bright Moon God, I should have left no trace.
“The Bright Moon God disappeared as if evaporated from the mortal realm; no one knows what they experienced, yet high above in the Cloud Sky Heavenly Court, an exalted being had long ago predicted their downfall.”
