Chapter 1719: Chapter 1280: Illusion, Could It Be an Illusion?

On the other hand, Anthony was somewhat troubled. Little Angel’s actions added many variables to the whole situation. He didn’t know how the other party would react, let alone in what way, which was the most troublesome part.

But it’s unrealistic to stop Little Angel from taking action. This daring kid even dared to strike against Your Majesty. If it weren’t for Little Zombie stopping her, she could have beaten her way from the Boundless Space Hole to the Gemez Fortress, even kicking the Big Cat she passed by twice. Now she only stole one thing and ran off, which is already an improvement.

Forget it. Just take it one step at a time, no plans. Anthony sighed and shifted his attention back to that ’cloth’: “What is this thing? Do you know what it’s called? What’s its use?”

Little Angel barked a bit, and Negris translated: “This thing seems to be able to absorb the energy within the Molten Fire, calming it down within a certain range, as if it has absorbed the heat from the Molten Fire.”

“That’s it? Little Angel, don’t your wings do the same?” Anthony remarked.

If it’s just about absorbing the God Star’s energy, Little Angel’s wings are also very efficient. In just a few days since we got here, Little Angel has progressed from needing to spread her wings to absorb light and heat to now being able to soak directly in the Molten Fire, evolving rapidly. The entire process relied on her wings.

Now Little Angel’s wings no longer have the distinction between True Wings and Light Wings. They’re all energy-formed Fire Wings, but their strength is many times greater than her previous Light Wings.

Enveloped by the Fire Wings, she can easily immerse herself in the Molten Fire and extend her Fire Wings, increasing her energy absorption efficiency, benefiting even Little Zombie.

In just these few days, their combined energy intensity has nearly doubled. If this ’Fire Cloth’ can only absorb Molten Fire energy, it might not even be as useful as Little Angel’s wings.

Negris suggested: “Why don’t we ask Spit melon?”

Anthony nodded, retreated to his original form to consult with Spit melon, then projected himself back.

“Spit melon says it’s called the Star Dome Seal Cloth,” Anthony announced.

“Star Dome Seal Cloth? What’s it used for?” Negris asked in confusion. The name revealed nothing about its function.

“According to Spit melon’s record, under Gemez Fortress, there are three very powerful subordinates. Spit melon doesn’t know exactly how powerful, just that one of them has a Star Dome Seal Cloth. As long as there’s enough energy, it can print out the entire Star Dome,” Anthony explained.

“Wow, print out the entire Star Dome? That’s quite a boast,” Negris exclaimed in surprise.

Anthony shrugged: “The Star Dome Seal Cloth has another function. If you throw it towards a God Star, when it lands on the God Star, it can absorb the God Star’s energy and then print out anything.”

Negris was astonished: “That magical? Is that how they came here?”

Print out anything? Isn’t that akin to Ange’s Chaos Manifestation? But Ange can only manifest objects, not consciousness. Can this thing print out consciousness too?

Anthony shrugged again: “I don’t know. Spit melon isn’t very clear. It only carries a small amount of information. Only particularly important things get imprinted in its seed.”

“Aw!” As they continued to delay, Little Angel casually pulled out the Star Dome Seal Cloth and gave it a hard shake, draping it over her shoulders. Instantly, the entire cloth spread out like a cape.

Anthony was stunned for a moment and looked towards Negris: “What did she say?”

“She said, ’What’s with all the hesitation? Just try it and see.’ ” Negris replied.

“This… this…” Anthony didn’t know what to say. Can this thing be tested so casually? What if it has some kind of tracking Imprint on it and everything gets exposed?

Just as he was about to say something, Little Angel turned back and barked.

Ange floated over and gave her a noogie from a distance.

Little Angel justified herself with a couple of ’aow aow’ sounds.

Helpless, Ange noogied her again and floated to the side, somewhat resigned.

Without Negris having to translate, Anthony could roughly guess what she meant: ’I’m going to cause trouble, come and watch.’

She even brought Ange into it, so what else could Anthony say?

However, even after the Star Dome Seal Cloth was spread out for a while, it didn’t change at all. Little Angel looked up at Ange and asked, “Aw?”

Ange thought for a moment and pointed towards a position in the Void.

Everyone virtualized and attached themselves to Little Angel, then star-shifted to the position Ange pointed at.

The Void was not empty but filled with a lot of chaotic substances. There were even some withered branches and leaves of the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms floating around, and of course, some bodies of enormous Star Descendants.

The place Diakos came from was the carcass of a gigantic Star Descendant. Diakos’ entire tribe of subspecies was birthed from this body. This Star Descendant is called Diya, so when people say they come from ’Diya,’ everyone knows where they’re from.

Of course, the number of such gigantic Star Descendants is scarce. There are more kinds of floating debris, including withered branches and leaves of the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms, emissions of God Stars, and various fragmented Planes.

This environment was very familiar to everyone, like a replica of the Chaos Plane, except without the Chaos Mist and with an added God Star.

They landed on a piece of unidentified floating substance, adjusted their position to align directly above in the direction of Gemez Fortress. Only then did Ange nod.

Little Angel shrugged and unfurled a large stretch of ’flame’ behind her.

Truly deserving of the Battle Angel title, she quickly grasped the method of combining her wings with the Star Dome Seal Cloth. The wings were the foundation, and when the cloth was laid over the wings, withdrawing the wings would store the cloth as well.

Now, with one adjustment, the entire massive Fire Cloth unfurled like a cape billowing in the wind and finally settled into place.

The stationary Seal Cloth resembled a flat plane aiming directly at Gemez Fortress.

After a good while, Negris couldn’t help but ask: “Is it done? There’s been no change.”

Anthony quietly suggested: “Maybe some changes can’t be seen. Why don’t you share the Lord’s perspective for a look?”

Negris gave him a sidelong glance: “Why don’t you share it yourself?”

Although saying that, Negris couldn’t resist the itch and shared Ange’s perspective, with Anthony naturally following suit.

From Ange’s viewpoint of the Seal Cloth, faint starry specks occasionally splashed out, akin to dripping water, with the scattered droplets falling back onto the Seal Cloth, circling in continuously until they fully merged.

“There’s definitely something. What is this?” Negris exclaimed in surprise.

Anthony said, “Seems like light coming from Gemez Fortress.”

“Impossible. Gemez Fortress is so far, any light that reaches us would be mere starlight,” Negris countered.

“So it requires the Star Dome Seal Cloth to receive it. Could this cloth be intended to capture information from Gemez Fortress and then print out a Star Descendant? Is that perhaps the meaning of Star Dome Seal Cloth?” Anthony pondered in surprise.

No sooner had Anthony finished speaking, the flat Star Dome Seal Cloth began to slowly bulge, as if something was trying to emerge from inside.

Floated in the Molten Fire, focused and calm, the Ge Castle seemed to sense something and instantly ’stood’ up. But upon closer sensing, it was as if nothing had ever appeared, and the feeling from earlier seemed like an illusion.
