Chapter 3396: Chapter 1689: The Apricot Realm Recreates Tianxuan Gate, All 5 Domains Within My Reach_3
It’s impossible to cut off this path!
“Shut up!”
“Shut up? Telling me to shut up again? I said earlier to make it short, but you told me to explain. Now that I’ve said it, you tell me to shut up! You… tsk, so amusing~”
With a sarcastic tone.
The tension was palpable.
Cao Erzhu glanced at Elder Sang, whose clenched fists and trembling lips were betraying his rage, and quietly edged closer to the Water Ghost. Lowering his voice, he asked:
“Uncle Water Ghost, are they always like this?”
The Water Ghost thought to himself, “How would I know? They’re not my disciples.”
Still, watching Elder Sang be put in his place was a rare sight—so rare even Bazhun’an might not have managed to do it.
He glanced at Xu Xiaoshou, then shifted his gaze to Cao Erzhu. Comparing the two, he sighed inwardly:
Indeed, both training methods have serious problems, and significant ones at that.
Looking at it this way, my own training method is flawless in comparison:
Locking my son in a pitch-black underground room while I infiltrate the Holy Divine Palace pretending to be him—utter perfection, airtight!
“Am I worrying too much on his behalf?”
Looking at the annoying Xu Xiaoshou, Elder Sang couldn’t help but muse: perhaps a bit of distance does make things more beautiful.
Whenever he was alone, thinking about his beloved disciple, the memories always seemed so wonderful.
Even on those rare occasions in the Higher Void World when they met across its opposing poles, his emotions were so mixed as to become sentimental, even melancholic.
But when they actually met in person…
There wasn’t even a sliver of melancholy!
What he did feel, however, was a heart that desperately wanted to teach him a lesson but couldn’t.
Like now—Elder Sang already regretted giving away the Elephant Dragon ahead of schedule for the sake of Xu Xiaoshou and Hidden Bitter.
If he’d known this brat would pull such stunts upon returning, he’d rather have crushed and swallowed the Elephant Dragon into pieces than let it be used to repay Cao Erzhu’s favor.
“The God Worship Willow connects the two realms, aren’t you going to do something about it?” Elder Sang seethed, eager to drive him off.
But this shameless fellow turned into a metaphorical dog-skin plaster that wouldn’t peel off, even sitting down nonchalantly to say:
“No need.”
“He does his thing; I rest.”
“It’s not like I’m the World Tree. Giving him moral support is enough—I can’t contribute much more. ‘The Lord of the Apricot Realm must not overexert themselves, lest their noble body falter’—God Worship Willow’s words, not mine.”
Even so, Jin Ren took out the Heavenly Realm Core and closely monitored the situation with the Di Ying Holy Plant.
He was concerned the God Worship Willow might stir up trouble.
For instance, seizing the Holy Plant’s weakened state to take possession of or absorb its power, thereby affecting the Divine Relics and so forth.
But clearly, as the World Tree of the Apricot Realm, the God Worship Willow wasn’t so short-sighted, nor would it dare attempt such boldness under the Master of the World’s watchful eyes.
All it did was communicate with the Di Ying Holy Plant.
The Holy Plant’s newly reformed spiritual physique was currently very frail, a far cry from its previous arrogant demeanor.
Upon encountering the God Worship Willow, the Ancestor Tree Leader, it didn’t even harbor a thought of resistance and promptly agreed.
“Could something like this fail?”
The Water Ghost listened to Jin Ren’s explanation of what was going on with the two Ancestor Trees on the Heavenly Realm Core and asked with curiosity.
Given his vast experiences, he had yet to encounter anything like world fusion, let alone such significant-scale realms.
The sheer sizes of the current Apricot Realm and Divine Relics made it almost impossible to fathom what sort of transformation their merging might bring.
Of course, opportunities came with risks. If it failed…
“Wouldn’t it just blow everything up?” Elder Sang muttered, slightly concerned as well.
“Don’t jinx it with your crow’s mouth!”
Jin Ren turned his head. “It won’t blow up. The God Worship Willow doesn’t have complete confidence in total integration either, which is why I’ve adjusted its plan.”
Silence.
Neither Elder Sang nor the Water Ghost, nor even Feng Yujin carrying Mo Mo as he approached, felt it was wise to respond.
“What’s the plan?”
No one spoke, so Cao Erzhu had to ask.
As soon as he did, he felt three pairs of eyes glaring at him.
Jin Ren clapped the dust off himself, stood up excitedly, and gestured with enthusiasm. He seemed much more interested in the Apricot Realm’s construction than the chaos outside:
“This is what I’m thinking.”
“The God Worship Willow has only recently awakened and is still weak. The rules of the Divine Relics are on a much higher level. Forcing a fusion indeed carries unsavory risk.”
“Unsavory?” Cao Erzhu chimed in, only to be glared at again. He quickly shrank back without saying more.
“Yes, forced unions don’t end well—it might even blow up!”
“So, my plan is to introduce the Divine Relics in a ‘guiding’ manner, starting with the First Heavens. We’ll test the waters by opening a pathway to link it to the Apricot Realm.”
“You know the Tianxuan Gate, right?” Jin Ren turned to Elder Sang.
Elder Sang stayed silent.
The Tianxuan Gate from Tiansang Spirit Palace; half of its Eight Great Treasures were pilfered by you. Do you think I would forget?
“Yes, the Tianxuan Gate!”
Though Elder Sang said nothing, Jin Ren acted as if he’d gotten a response, enthusiastically gesturing and outlining his plan:
“I intend to convert the Divine Relics’ First Heavens into the Tianxuan Gate of the Apricot Realm.”
“‘Guiding’ might be difficult for us, but for the God Worship Willow—its branches can extend across the myriad worlds. That’s within its capabilities; it just needs time to replenish its strength.”
“Once it regains some strength and deciphers the guiding principles of the Divine Relics, pulling its Path Principles into the Apricot Realm, the ‘gate’ will be complete.”
“Afterward, the original residents of the Apricot Realm can earn contribution points through their service to the realm. Then, they can use those points to exchange for an opportunity to enter the Tianxuan Gate—that is, to cultivate in the Divine Relics’ First Heavens.”
“Super Taoization! Something so rare in the Shengshen Continent could instead be earned through hard work within the Apricot Realm. Who wouldn’t be enticed by that?”
