Chapter 1862: Chapter 816: Xi Skill Battlefield, Yue Guang Warrior Demon Chapter 1862: Chapter 816: Xi Skill Battlefield, Yue Guang Warrior Demon Han Yi, bowing respectfully, said:
“Han Yi has met the seniors of Demon Witch Mountain.”
The figures in front, sixteen in total, were either towering and majestic or ordinary and unremarkable. However, he knew that each was a Heavenly Venerable-level powerhouse, and among them, three possessed the same robust aura as the First Mountain Master.
These three were presumably also from the twelve Demon Witches, their aura ancient and mighty.
Han Yi had learned that among the twelve Demon Witches, aside from the one who had achieved Half-Step Transcendence surpassing the Demon Witch, the others were all High-level Venerable Sages.
The other thirteen, meanwhile, were either Initial Stage or Middle-stage Heavenly Venerates. Together with Han Yi and the First Mountain Master, this area devoid of space-time concepts contained eighteen figures in total.
Seen within the Chaos, they were undeniably the strongest force aside from the Overlord Level powers of the Tao Domain.
“Ancestral God Star, Han is actually from the Chaos Divine Race that has returned from the Acquired to the Innate.”
“This aura seems to have just broken through to Godly Venerable not long ago, yet there is a powerful will to battle that suggests his strength is absolutely not weak.”
“After so many years, it’s truly gratifying to see that Sword Demon Witch Mountain has successors.”
The sixteen figures looked at Han Yi with varying gazes. Han Yi, however, remained calm and composed. After all, these figures, belonging to Demon Witch Mountain, had never had any interactions with him in other Tao Domains.
After the First Mountain Master finished introducing Han Yi, he proceeded to introduce the other Demon Witches and Heavenly Venerates present. Besides the first towering and fiery figure, the Fire Witch, the other two Demon Witches were the Wind Witch and the Wood Witch.
Sword Witch, Fire Witch, Wind Witch, Wood Witch – all part of the twelve Demon Witches and all High-level Venerable Sages.
Besides these three Demon Witches, the other thirteen Heavenly Venerates came from various origins including the Immortal Path and Different Races. Among them were four Middle-stage Heavenly Venerates and nine Initial Stage Heavenly Venerates. Seeing so many Venerables at once was an eye-opener for Han Yi.
Immediately after,
The First Mountain Master flew forward, and after steadying his stance with a solemn expression, he retrieved an odd silver pentacle, which he then activated with a special Secret Technique.
Silver light spread out, tinting the concept-level space ahead in silver.
In the blink of an eye, the silver light converged to form a colossal silver portal, standing tall and emanating a solemn and frightening vast aura.
The First Mountain Master put away the silver pentacle and, with a stern look towards the seventeen figures behind him, said:
“This silver portal leads to a Forbidden Land known as ‘Ancient Battlefield of Xi Shu.’”
“The Ancient Battlefield of Xi Shu is immensely vast, featuring a chaotic battle evolving within that involves the entire Chaos Realm. It includes Immortals, Tao Realm, and Heavenly Venerates, and even entities at Half-Step Transcendence and Transcend Level may appear.”
“If you encounter a Half-Step Transcendence or Transcend Level powerhouse, flee immediately.”
“Moreover, we outsiders, upon entering, will be marked and will feel the relentless hostility of the entire ancient battlefield, attracting never-ending trouble onto us.”
“One thing for everyone to note: what you experience in this Forbidden Land lies between the real and the illusory, neither completely real nor false. If you fall there, it is true death. However, if you gain something, like an Ancient Artifact, there’s a chance to bring it back into reality, but it is not guaranteed.”
“To exit, one must wait at least ten thousand years. However, do not worry; ten thousand years in the Ancient Battlefield of Xi Shu are but a brief year in the Taoist Spirit Chaos World.”
“If you do not exit after ten thousand years, you may stay another ten thousand, but as time goes on, the malice of the ancient battlefield will intensify, and eventually, it may even attract a Transcendent One, ensuring certain death.”
“My fellows, strive for opportunities, but do not force what cannot be taken. Please go ahead.”
Hearing this, everyone’s faces turned solemn, including the three other Demon Witches. Though they were High-level Venerable Sages who considered themselves powerful, should they truly encounter a Half-Step Transcendence, they wouldn’t stand a chance. That was the gap between a Heavenly Venerate and a Realm Venerate.
Han Yi, standing towards the back, was thoughtful.
From what the First Mountain Master had said earlier, he had guessed that this Forbidden Land was related to the Xi Skill Chaos Realm, and indeed, it was named the Ancient Battlefield of Xi Shu.
However,
What Han Yi temporarily didn’t understand was that the First Mountain Master said that everything in this Forbidden Land was between the real and the illusory. If one were to fall, it meant true oblivion, but the treasures obtained, such as Ancient Artifacts, could not necessarily be brought out.
This suggested that the First Mountain Master had brought back some Ancient Artifacts before and had found that some of them became illusory and disappeared upon leaving the Forbidden Land, which informed his previous statement.
As for perishing, it naturally referred to the various Mountain Masters of Sword Demon Witch Mountain who had fallen there, causing Sword Demon Witch Mountain to have only the First Mountain Master as a Heavenly Venerate, with no one else above that level.
Although the First Mountain Master’s words conveyed extreme danger, all the cultivators present were Venerable Sages, forged through Myriad Calamities. Facing the prospect of opportunity, they would naturally not shrink back.
In fact,
Over these countless years, the other mountains of the Demon Witch Mountain had wanted Sword Witch Venerable to lead them to this Forbidden Land. However, the Sword Witch Venerable had always refused, deeming it too dangerous.
Yet, not long ago, Dao God Sect dispersed the Venerates, and the first Demon Witch departed, making Sword Witch Venerable sense something amiss. Hence, he no longer resisted. After consulting with the other Demon Witches, they decided to reopen this Forbidden Land, fraught with both danger and opportunity.
