- Chapter 1314: Everything in the Demon Realm, Meeting New People
“Only those of the Demon Race can enter the Demon Realm,” said Demon Venerable Tianpeng.
“Our lord will infuse his demonic qi into this wordless stone tablet, and then he can see the entire Demon Realm.”
Xu Zimei nodded, demonic qi surged in his right hand.
However, before he could infuse the demonic qi, the wordless stone tablet suddenly fluctuated.
Two swirls of demonic clouds floated out from it.
“Someone’s coming out,” said Demon Venerable Tianpeng.
Xu Zimei saw Old Demon Wei and another elder holding a dragon-head staff.
“Greetings to Ancestor Tianpeng,” the two bowed and greeted Demon Venerable Tianpeng.
Old Demon Wei’s status was too low for Demon Venerable Tianpeng to bother with.
He only looked at the elder with the dragon-head staff and asked, “Si Zu, were you sent by Mosha?”
“Master Mosha knew that a distinguished guest was coming and sent me to greet you,” the elder named Si Zu replied with a smile.
“I dared not neglect such a guest, almost came a step late.”
“Why didn’t he come himself?” Demon Venerable Tianpeng said discontentedly.
“Tianpeng, it’s nothing, no need to force others,” Xu Zimei said with a smile.
“Moreover, many people feel that now is already different from the past.”
“Please, honorable guest,” Si Zu smiled and made a gesture of invitation.
Immediately, the wordless stone tablet transformed, and countless black mists shot up, covering the firmament.
This demonic qi was not ordinary; it obscured the heavenly mechanisms, and even the Heavenly Dao might not know what was happening here.
This reminded Xu Zimei of the Ghost God Realm.
The entire realm was obscured, and the cost must have been unimaginable.
The original Desolate City began to fade, replaced by the true nature of the Demon Realm.
The Heaven-reaching Demon Mountain stood resolutely, towering to the sky.
Gigantic demons stood as tall as the heavens, their colossal figures patrolling the surroundings of the Demon Realm, with pupils spanning hundreds of meters.
And the Magic River, cutting through the endless riverbed, with pebbles like prehistoric giant eggs paving its surface.
The Fire Demon with crimson ox horns resided in the volcanic crater.
The Ice Demon, gifted with ice, slumbered underground, with icy waves rising and falling with each breath.
This was the world of demons,
Various and innumerable.
All kinds of buildings, each unique and bizarre.
The demonic essence was inherently capricious, unorthodox yet distinctly unique.
The Demon Race had lived in this Demon Realm for countless years, with only the particularly ancient among them, like Demon Venerable Tianpeng, remembering.
Possibly for a billion years, the newly born of the Demon Race did not concern themselves with such matters.
Xu Zimei surveyed the entire world; this Demon Realm, after countless years, had been fashioned into a complete world.
Here, everything imaginable could be found.
“Where would the honored guest like to go?” Si Zu looked at Xu Zimei, smiling as he asked.
“I will wander on my own, you don’t need to follow me,” Xu Zimei said.
“Other demons might see you and suspect something.”
Si Zu hesitated for a moment, as Purgatory Demon Charioteer had tasked him with ensuring Xu Zimei’s satisfaction before he left.
“With me here, when you are told to leave, you leave,” Demon Venerable Tianpeng spoke.
Seeing Demon Venerable Tianpeng’s unfriendly expression, Si Zu had no choice but to nod.
Though he obeyed Purgatory Demon Charioteer’s orders, he still had to respect Demon Venerable Tianpeng.
After all, Demon Venerable Tianpeng, in terms of strength and seniority, was one of the oldest ancestors in the Demon Realm.
Watching Si Zu’s departing figure, Xu Zimei also wanted Demon Venerable Tianpeng to return to the Divine Continent.
If he was to examine the Demon Race here, he couldn’t use any special status.
He needed to blend in as an ordinary member of the Demonic Horde, just like everyone else.
The Demon Realm now had over 10,000 members of the Demonic Horde.
In recent years, Demon Venerable Tianpeng had been in seclusion, seldom interfering in Demon Realm affairs.
Many matters were handled by Purgatory Demon Charioteer.
The number of the demonic horde was intentionally restrained by the Demon Race, as Purgatory Demon Charioteer feared that too many might provoke the Heavenly Dao’s apprehensions.
They would never allow the Demon Overlord Era of old to return.
Undulating mountain forests, endless plains.
There were no seasons here, for different demons favored different seasons.
In some corners, heavy snow fell, where the Ice Demons resided.
Some demons lived inside volcanoes.
Xu Zimei walked a long stretch and came to a Study Palace.
Along the way, he encountered many demons, but these were all of the new generation and did not recognize him.
“Demon Palace,” two large words came into view.
This was the name of the Study Palace, with black walls seemingly made of black jade, enclosing the area.
The grand gates looked like a demon with a gaping mouth, watching all passersby intently.
The Demon Palace was majestic and grand.
Two giant demonic eagles perched on the eaves above the Study Palace, their sinister eyes sweeping over everyone below.
As Xu Zimei prepared to enter, several students emerged from within.
“Wang Li, this Demonic Path is about to open, but we’re still short one person.”
The students, four in total, chatted as they walked.

Two men and two women wore matching black cloaks with high collars, almost covering their necks entirely.
“As long as Hong Ze and the others speak, I doubt anyone would dare team up with us.”
“Giving up like this feels too bitter, the Demonic Path is a rare opportunity that comes only once in a hundred years.
Missing it now means we don’t know if we’ll get another chance next time.”
The group discussed passionately, their leader should be Wang Li.
He had cropped hair, with a cross-shaped scar on his temple.
He snorted coldly, “I can’t believe in such a vast Demon Realm, we can’t find one more person for our team.”
“The folks from Demon Valley seem willing to help us, but their asking price is too high, we can’t afford it.”
As they lamented, Wang Li looked up and suddenly noticed Xu Zimei.
He seemed to think of something, his eyes lighting up.
“What is this junior brother’s name?” Wang Li approached quickly and asked.
“Xu Zimei,” Xu Zimei replied.
“Junior brother, have you heard of the Demonic Path?” Wang Li inquired.
“Your aura seems compatible; we happen to have a vacancy, and we’ll give it to you for now.”
“I can do that,” Xu Zimei nodded calmly.
He was pondering how to integrate into the Demon Race.
And now, a demon had actively sought him out.
Seeing Xu Zimei agree so easily, the group was a bit surprised.
“Is it really that simple?” another male student said incredulously.
“This is what they call finding after searching with iron shoes, all coming without effort,” Wang Li laughed.
“Let’s introduce ourselves, I’m Wang Li.”
The other three each introduced themselves in turn.
The other male was named Xu Jiamo.
And the two women, one with a graceful figure and good looks was Lan Caidie.
The other, with a voluptuous figure, was Zhang Yuwen.
“We’ll meet tomorrow morning at the Triumph Hall of the Study Palace,” Wang Li said, looking at Xu Zimei.
