Let’s Divorce As Agreed - Chapter 1496: 1495 Mockery
Chapter 1496: Chapter 1495 Mockery
Gu Joy really didn’t like to argue with people because she found it meaningless.
She knew Tang Yuanyuan’s personality very well, the more she cared, the more pleased Tang would be, and there would be no end to it.
So the best thing for Gu Joy to do now was to shut up, stay quiet, and let Tang say whatever she wanted!
After all, it’s not like a few words would take a chunk out of her; why should she care?
Since Tang Yuanyuan broke up with that man, perhaps feeling humiliated, she had kept a much lower profile.
Usually, it was just attending classes, and she rarely went out.
She had two close friends in class, and mostly came back to the dormitory on time every day.
Gu Joy once thought that Tang had changed for the better.
Now it seems that some people simply have no intention of changing; deep down, they are still the same, enjoying mocking and ridiculing others.
But to Gu Joy, all these were trivial and she didn’t take them to heart.
After sitting down, Gu Joy kept her eyes on her phone, worried about missing a call from Zhou Yanlin.
I wonder if he has arrived yet?
There’s a time difference between here and there, so maybe not yet.

So she disregarded everything else and waited quietly.
Seeing that Gu Joy was ignoring her, Tang Yuanyuan felt bored and went to chat with others in the neighboring dorm.
Today she happens to have some juicy gossip to share with everyone.
Just then, Gu Joy’s phone suddenly rang, startling her, and she quickly picked it up to check.
It should be a call from Zhou Yanlin.
Her mood instantly became somewhat agitated.
She hurriedly pressed the answer button, “Yan Lin?”
She asked anxiously.
Zhou Yanlin chuckled over the phone, “It’s me, I’ve arrived, I’m in the dormitory now, everything went smoothly, don’t worry.”
“Great, I’m glad all is well. Please be careful out there,” she said, still somewhat worried, as she heard it wasn’t very safe.
“No worries, I’ll be careful, and you take care of yourself, eat more, don’t go hungry,” Zhou Yanlin advised.
She usually didn’t eat much.
“I know, rest assured, when you come back, you will see a big fat pig,” Gu Joy said jokingly.
In fact, she didn’t eat that little, but she had a body type that didn’t gain weight easily, so even with a lot of food, she didn’t necessarily get fat.
Yuan Wen was most envious of this about her.
“That’s good, isn’t it? No matter what you become, I will like you all the same,” Zhou Yanlin’s words suddenly made Gu Joy blush.
“Alright, I got it, I’ll eat well, and so should you,” Gu Joy quickly changed the subject.
“Alright, you take good care of yourself, and we can meet during the winter break,” Zhou Yanlin felt that he might need some more time to get used to not having Gu Joy by his side.
“Okay, it’s a promise,” Gu Joy sighed softly after hanging up the phone.
Longing is indeed quite agonizing.
When Yuan Wen returned to the dorm and saw her sighing, she knew what had happened and comforted her, “Brother Zhou will be back soon, don’t worry, he won’t betray you, I have a good eye for people.”
Gu Joy smiled and responded, “I’m sure he won’t either.”
She trusted him a lot; she knew very well what kind of person he was.
“Right, that’s the spirit, so just focus on studying and living well, make yourself look pretty, and these two years will pass quickly,” Yuan Wen hugged her and then said.
“Yeah, indeed.”
