Summary
The city’s most dazzling socialite, Song Ci, shocks everyone by rejecting a wealthy, charming heir to tie the knot with a disabled man shrouded in obscurity—Han Zhan. The public sneers, thinking she’s made a pitiful choice. But only Song Ci knows the truth: her “nobody” husband is destined to become the wealthiest man in all of Wangdong City.
After reliving her tragic past, Song Ci awakens in her 22-year-old body with memories from her previous life. This time, her beloved sister is still alive, the scumbag who betrayed her is chasing her relentlessly, and the man who once seemed unreachable is still unknown to the world.
In this second chance at life, Song Ci vows to rewrite her fate. She’ll protect her loved ones, punish those who wronged her, and pursue a love story the whole city envies.
One day, a friend teasingly asks about her newlywed life: “So, how’s married life treating you? Is Mr. Han a doting husband?”
Song Ci, deadpan, replies, “He’s great… just a bit too big.”
Han Zhan, overhearing from nearby, lights up in glee—until she continues with a sigh, “Our generation gap is huge. The man doesn’t even use emojis when texting. I’m talking stickers and reactions, and he replies with… periods.”
Determined to bridge the gap, Han Zhan starts sending awkward emoji-laced messages that look more like a toddler’s first chat.
Now married to a dependable, older man, Song Ci wears her fleece-lined leggings, sips herbal tea for health, and lives a life wrapped in warmth, love, and zero regrets.
