Chapter 1716: Chapter 1411: False and True at the False Time
“What does this mean?”
“In the derivations of [Real], the World-ending Calamity that encompasses countless possibilities, is showing signs of being reversed?”
The moment Li Fan silently recited [Real] at lightning speed, the explosive power of the seven words “Turning the True to False and False to True” reverberated throughout his spirit. His heart was filled with shock and suspicion.
“After I attained the Realm of True Immortality, the maximum lifespan displayed on the [Real] panel corresponds to the predicted lifespan of this Mortal World. Now, as calamity looms over me, why has the predicted lifespan of the Mortal World not decreased but instead increased?”
A thousand thoughts flashed in a single moment.
“The Dao Yin Domain descends upon the Mortal World.”
Centered on Li Fan, within the Abyss Star Ocean, everything fell utterly still in a black-and-white dichotomy.
But this time, it was different.
In this instance, within the Dao Yin Domain, movement was possible—and it wasn’t just Li Fan. Someone else, too!
In a completely static world, this presence was so glaringly conspicuous that Li Fan immediately sensed and locked upon them.
This person, too, seemed to be gazing precisely at Li Fan’s location.
Four eyes collided!
“Celestial… Doctor?”
Though the appearance, attire, and aura of this person differed greatly from the Celestial Doctor Li Fan knew, he recognized them at a glance.
Recalling the existence of Evil Nature Su Bai outside the Invisible Wall glimpsed in Mr. Bai’s Eternal Memento, Li Fan instantly realized the source of his inexplicable sense of danger.
“Outside the Wall, not only Evil Nature Su Bai but also the Darkened Celestial Physician?”
“How could it be…”
Suddenly, Li Fan recalled his prior agreement with the Celestial Doctor inside the Wall—a “thousand-day deadline”. Compelled by threat to his life, the Celestial Doctor fully committed himself to comprehending the principles of the Wall in order to break through as swiftly as possible.
“Evil Nature Su Bai was sensed only after Mr. Bai had placed half a foot outside the Wall. Yet, prior to this moment, I hadn’t detected an Immortal-Level fluctuation. Without crossing the Wall, how could the Darkened Celestial Physician perceive me?”
“Could this person’s power exceed even that of Evil Nature Su Bai?”
Countless thoughts surged within Li Fan’s spirit consciousness.
Amidst the static and black-and-white Dao Yin Domain, the Darkened Celestial Physician continued to slowly escape toward Li Fan’s position—though it seemed trapped in slow motion.
Li Fan’s vision extended outward to the frontier of the Abyss Star Ocean: beneath the Invisible Wall, the endless Ruined World The Wall lay in disarray, as if ravaged by an overwhelming flood.
The Invisible Wall, which had encircled the Abyss Star Ocean, appeared to have been breached—a gap torn open.
Through the opening, the world beyond the Wall faintly flickered into view.
Unlike the Abyss Star Ocean, bereft of vitality, the space outside the Wall teemed with life across numerous fields. Yet amidst this thriving vitality lay an incongruously stark, glaringly abrupt blank line.
Like a Path to the Heavens stretching forth into an unknowable realm far beyond.
At the terminus of this road—a path seemingly carved by Ancient Monstrous Beasts rampaging through the primordial wilderness—
Li Fan’s gaze was abruptly severed.
Enveloped by towering shadows, obstructed by high, imposing barriers.
No time to dwell, nor to grasp the mysteries of the Dao Yin Domain.
Li Fan’s thoughts raced as he desperately invoked [Real].
Now he understood why the Mortal World’s predicted lifespan as derived by [Real] had suddenly surged.
[Real] had simulated the scenario in which it fell into the Darkened Celestial Physician’s hands!
“Attaining the power the Darkened Celestial Physician possesses now—would it mean wielding [Real] to avert the world’s Great Calamity?”
Li Fan silently clenched his teeth in fury.
He did not believe that the Darkened Celestial Physician, upon seizing [Real], would spare him his life.
“The maximum lifespan displayed on the [Real] panel pertains not only to the Mortal World but also to me.”
“If these facets of existence remain united in the simulations, it must mean…”
“As the vessel for [Real], it’s highly improbable I would be separated. Instead, I might be refined into something akin to the Yan Fajue—a form of Magic Treasure.”
Li Fan felt an icy chill suffuse his heart.
He tightened his focus, accelerating the activation of [Real], collapsing the Dao Yin Domain.
The restoration of the black-and-white world’s normal state progressed faster than the Darkened Celestial Physician’s sluggish endeavors to move.
Yet an unease gnawed at Li Fan—outside the Dao Yin Domain, turbulent mist churned and quivered.
It seemed as if some terrifying entity was on the verge of emerging.
“[Real]!!”
Li Fan roared inwardly in one final cry.
Even if the Darkened Celestial Physician could genuinely save the Mortal World from its Great Calamity upon seizing [Real], Li Fan would never willingly hand [Real] over.
Either the Mortal World would be utterly annihilated.
Or he, Li Fan, would become the sole savior.
To ask him to sacrifice himself…
Not a chance!
The roiling White Mist ultimately swallowed everything.
The familiar darkness loomed over Li Fan, and with the tension gripping his heart finally released, his consciousness slipped into a brief slumber.
…
Unsure how long had passed, or perhaps merely a single fleeting moment thereafter.
A black-robed Celestial Doctor stared blankly at his now empty hands, a flicker of bewilderment flashing through his eyes.
Turning to observe the immense trail of destruction he’d caused, his brows furrowed tightly.
With but a thought, he scanned the Abyss Star Ocean.
When his Divine Sense brushed past the True Immortal meditating in the Immortal Ruins, it paused slightly.
An ephemeral hesitation appeared, and then he stretched forth his hand, lifting the skeletal Hungry Immortal.
He flew beyond the Wall, traversing the long blank pathway.
At its end, he lifted his gaze to the distant horizon.
The Celestial Doctor’s body abruptly froze, his grip on the Hungry Immortal loosened unconsciously.
He stood there motionless.
…
Boundless darkness surrounded him.
Li Fan’s consciousness drifted like debris in water, oscillating uncertainly.
Suspended in a paradoxical state of wakefulness and unconsciousness.
Without knowledge or awareness, Li Fan relied solely on instinct to observe his surroundings.
Not far away, a single star-point seemed to light up.
Then, a cascade of starlight surged, thousands upon thousands illuminating in turn.
They linked into lines, piercing through the darkness.
Li Fan’s awareness plummeted toward this beam of light.
Faster and faster.
When the light finally engulfed him, it detonated into a myriad of shimmering fragments.
Anchor Point: 1 Year Ago, Central Star Sea!
“Hah!”
Like someone rising from drowning, he gasped desperately, drawing breath in frantic gulps.
Li Fan remained immersed in the boundless pressure exerted by the Darkened Celestial Physician in his previous iteration.
“Hmm?”
As the overwhelming dread gradually subsided, a hazy yet mystifying image of a white line in the void flickered briefly across Li Fan’s spirit consciousness.
“…”
Each return to [Real]’s initial anchor point provided an optimal opportunity to comprehend the [Change of True and False].
Suppressing all distractions within his heart by sheer force, Li Fan focused entirely on the supreme power of [Real].
Yet, for reasons unknown, the image of that white line persisted in his thoughts, lingering for an inexplicably long time. Observing the process of countless luminous points linking together in that void, Li Fan felt his degree of insight into [Change of True and False] soar upward in an ominously rapid manner.
Without questioning its origin, he simply surrendered himself to the phenomenon, fully absorbed.
Much later, when the mental depiction finally faded into tenuous dimness,
He abruptly opened his eyes.
“False and True.”
Li Fan murmured these three words slowly.
After countless simulations under [Real], and experiencing firsthand the intricate dynamics of [Change of True and False],
Li Fan finally grasped the meaning of the seven words that always accompanied [Real].
“Turning the True to False…”
“Could it mean the Path-obliterating Calamity that pervades all possible destinies? Where countless threads of reality, in an instant, transform from True to False, obliterated and vanishing without a trace—not mere void but a conceptual [False]?”
“False and True, then, would refer to…”
Li Fan’s expression momentarily turned dazed.
“The supreme power of [Real], recreating new possibilities out of sheer nothingness amid the false realities consumed by the Path-obliterating Calamity!”
“This…”
Though he had speculated numerous times on the upper limits of [Real]’s [Change of True and False],
Even now, Li Fan was stunned by what he newly comprehended.
“Wait, perhaps it goes even further than that.”
Suddenly, an unformed idea surged within Li Fan’s thoughts, prompting him to re-access the [Real] panel hastily.
Ignoring the four inheritable choice prompts that popped up, he invoked [Change of True and False] upon himself with just a single thought.

Briefly returning him to the Half-Immortal Realm.
On the [Real] panel, his maximum lifespan column surged rapidly alongside.
Seven million three hundred and sixty-four thousand five thousand eight hundred and sixty-four years, thirteen days, and seven hours!
