It took her a long moment to snap out of it, then she suddenly screamed, “You’re spouting nonsense! How can you slander me? This is defamation. I’m taking you to the Elders’ Council!”

Xi Yue shrugged and said, “Go ahead. I’ll invite the instructors of Heavenly Medical Valley for a joint assessment. Let’s see if what I said is true or not.”

The young woman’s face, flushed red with anger just moments ago, instantly turned pale, her eyes filled with panic.

Another young woman nearby snapped, “How can you threaten a student like that?”

The young woman immediately fell silent in fear, took a step back, and didn’t dare say another word.

Meng Baiya forced down her unease and said softly, “Instructor, I know you’re close with my sister—maybe even closer than she was with Brother Yanhuai. I truly appreciate you standing up for her, but that doesn’t mean you should make things up about other students.”

As soon as those words left her mouth, the crowd began eyeing Xi Yue and Meng Zisu with a hint of suspicion and intrigue.

After all, though they were teacher and student, one was handsome and the other beautiful—both young and in their prime. It wasn’t hard to imagine something might be going on.

Xi Yue ignored the ill intention in Meng Baiya’s words and chuckled, “You’re Meng Baiya, right? You’re 41 years old now, but you have already lost your virginity at the age of 14. Xi Feiyang’s face changed drastically. He glanced at Ke Yanhuai, then at the deathly pale Meng Baiya, and hurriedly said in a panic, “Yanhuai, you have to believe me! Nothing is going on between me and Baiya. Don’t listen to her nonsense!”
