Your Talent is Mine - Chapter 855: The Legend of Limit Divine Abilities!
Chapter 855: The Legend of Limit Divine Abilities!
TL: Etude
Ye Tian initially thought his wealth could be exchanged for a considerable amount of divine coins, but he was quickly disappointed.
Low-level resources held no value for the Divine Generals and Heavenly Monarchs; they simply didn’t need them and thus wouldn’t trade divine coins with Ye Tian.
However, the most powerful Supreme Treasures and Chaos Spirit Treasures were still considered currency within the chaos and could be used for trading.
So, Ye Tian brought out a considerable number of powerful Supreme Treasures and some Chaos Spirit Treasures to trade for divine coins.
Despite this, the prices for the most powerful Supreme Treasures were quite low. One powerful Supreme Treasure was worth at most ten divine coins, while a Chaos Spirit Treasure could fetch about fifteen divine coins. Even the top-tier powerful Supreme Treasures were not worth a hundred divine coins.
After trading many treasures, Ye Tian ultimately acquired 982 divine coins.
This amount of divine coins was neither much nor little for a Divine General.
Many Divine Generals indeed possessed a few Dao Coins, equivalent to several thousand divine coins, but most of their wealth was in the value of their treasures rather than actual divine coins.
Furthermore, Divine Generals consumed a lot of resources for their cultivation, so they couldn’t hoard many divine coins.
Ye Tian spent 500 divine coins to exchange for some resources that could assist in his cultivation of the Profound Void Technique. He then roamed the Void Sky Hall, copying all the talents he could find.
Unfortunately, Ye Tian couldn’t find any particularly impressive talents.
It was clear that even within the chaos, outstanding talents were rare.
Ye Tian could have continued cultivating within the Void Sky Hall, but he chose to return to the Human Race.
At the very least, the Human Race needed his protection and could assist him in gathering information and rare resources, something the Void Sky Hall couldn’t truly provide.
With the newly formed universe, numerous high-level resources had emerged. One could say that the entire universe was brimming with opportunities and treasures.
Ye Tian dispatched the members of the Tian Pavilion to various parts of the universe to gather resources and information while he began integrating the talents he had copied from the disciples and Heavenly Monarchs of the Void Sky Hall.
It didn’t take long for Ye Tian to successfully integrate all the talents.
At this point, his talents were as follows:
Host: Ye Tian
Cultivation Talent: Supreme-level
Origin Strength Talent: Super God-level Limit
Origin Speed Talent: Super God-level Limit
Origin Body Talent: Super God-level Limit
Origin Saber Talent: Supreme-level
Origin Sword Talent: Supreme-level
Origin Time-Space Talent: Super God-level
Origin Fire Talent: God-level Limit
Origin Earth Talent: God-level Limit
Origin Metal Talent: God-level Limit
Origin Wood Talent: God-level Limit
Origin Water Talent: God-level Limit
Origin Immortality Talent: God-level
Origin Eternal Light Talent: God-level
Origin Annihilation Talent: God-level
After elevating several talents to the limit level, Ye Tian’s strength increased significantly, and he gained a deeper understanding of the rules of metal, water, earth, and fire, almost reaching an extremely high level of comprehension of these rules.
Ye Tian intended to elevate his other talents to the limit level as well, but he couldn’t get close to the Divine Generals and Heavenly Monarchs.
Each Divine General and Heavenly Monarch belonged to their own factions, and Ye Tian couldn’t just infiltrate their headquarters to copy talents without risking capture.
Although the Void Sky Hall was powerful, it wasn’t the strongest faction. Some major factions within the chaos, while not overwhelmingly powerful, had still sent their top Divine Generals and Heavenly Monarchs.
The Void Sky Hall, however, hadn’t sent their top-tier Heavenly Monarchs and Divine Generals. For instance, although Heavenly Monarch Peng Yu was strong, he wasn’t even among the top ten in the Void Sky Hall, indicating that the top ten Heavenly Monarchs hadn’t entered this new universe.
If the Void Sky Hall had fully mobilized, they could undoubtedly dominate the universe, allowing Ye Tian to bask in their glory. But currently, such a move was impossible.
“Wait for the opportunity!” Ye Tian murmured to himself.
In the following days, Ye Tian alternated between cultivating and visiting the Void Sky Hall.
Although the Void Sky Hall couldn’t provide him with resources, some ancient texts were available for free, courtesy of the Heavenly Monarchs of the Void Sky Hall.
For other disciples of the Void Sky Hall, those free texts were of little use, but for Ye Tian, whose knowledge was quite lacking, they were invaluable. He meticulously browsed through them.
Gradually, Ye Tian’s understanding of chaos knowledge grew, and naturally, his foundation became stronger.
Decades passed.
Ye Tian finally comprehended the true purpose of limit talents: they were related to divine abilities.
Divine abilities were classified into four levels: entry, minor accomplishment, major accomplishment, and perfection. However, above perfection, there existed another level—limit! If one cultivated a divine ability to its limit, it became a limit divine ability. The power of a limit divine ability far surpassed that of a perfected divine ability. Mastering a limit divine ability meant possessing terrifying combat power.
For instance, Heavenly Monarch Peng Yu had mastered a limit divine ability, making his strength incredibly formidable.
“Who would have thought that limit talents could allow someone to cultivate limit divine abilities? This means that in the future, I have the potential to master numerous limit divine abilities,” Ye Tian mused. However, this step was still too distant for him.
One day, news arrived that Divine General Primordial Era had crossed into the Destiny Realm.
After entering the Destiny Realm, Divine General Primordial Era’s strength skyrocketed, and he entered seclusion to transform his body into a chaos lifeform.
However, he only managed to condense an ordinary chaos lifeform, with limited future potential. It was possible he might remain in the early stage of the Destiny Realm for his entire life.
But he had no choice. Divine General Primordial Era lacked backing and was too weak, with a strength of just a one-star Divine General. Any Divine General could bully him. This time, hundreds of thousands of Divine Generals had flooded into the chaos, all immensely powerful, placing enormous pressure on him.
Thus, he had to elevate to the Destiny Realm to become a Heavenly Monarch.
Some time later, Heavenly Monarch Primordial Era announced that he and many Earthly Venerables of Primordial Era Holy Land had joined the Qilin Hall.
The Qilin Hall was under the command of the True Master Qilin. Divine General Primordial Era had once entered the Qilin Hall’s land of inheritance and had some affinity with them. Although he wasn’t qualified to become the True Master Qilin’s nominal disciple, this affinity allowed him to cling to the Qilin Hall.
While the Qilin Hall wasn’t very strong, it had a True Ancestor in the background and a few powerful Heavenly Monarchs, allowing Heavenly Monarch Primordial Era to live a relatively stable life for now.
Those like Heavenly Monarch Primordial Era, who entered the Destiny Realm early without accumulating much strength, weren’t few. Some ten-star Earthly Venerables, believing they lacked the potential to become Divine Generals, began to charge into the Destiny Realm.
Some failed, while others succeeded.
Overall, though, the failure rate was about ninety percent, as crossing into the Destiny Realm wasn’t easy. Failing the breakthrough didn’t lead to death, but it severely damaged one’s strength and shattered their foundation, making future attempts futile.
Even within the chaos, many Earthly Venerables at the peak of their cultivation didn’t dare to recklessly attempt to break through to the Destiny Realm.
Furthermore, breaking through to the Destiny Realm was harder within the chaos, whereas it was relatively easier in the Grand Universe due to the rules governing it. Otherwise, the Grand Universe wouldn’t be considered a true treasure trove of opportunities.
If these Earthly Venerables from the universe attempted to break through within the chaos, it’s estimated that out of a hundred, ninety-nine would fail.
The Human Race had no strong practitioners in the Destiny Realm because Ye Tian forbade the Earthly Venerables from attempting a breakthrough recklessly. Only when they truly couldn’t progress any further were they allowed to attempt it.
After all, the Human Race had the Void Sky Hall as backing, so they naturally didn’t fear threats from other factions.
TL: I’m still thinking of what to call these talents. Before I called them Peak talents, but now they’re used in a way that implies some sort of boundary. Extreme seems more accurate but Peak seems more fitting due to the context.
